These are the commitments Mile High Karate makes to every family that trains with us. They apply at every Mile High Karate location.

Our commitments

  1. A trial enrollment comes first. Every new student starts with introductory lessons and then a Trial Enrollment, roughly a quarter of the way to Black Belt. No family is asked to commit to a full Black Belt or Leadership program on its first visit.
  2. Longer programs are goals you choose. A Black Belt or Leadership program is a goal your family sets after you have experience with our school and your student has qualified.
  3. Rank is never tied to payment. Every rank has a written requirement. Students advance by meeting it, not by time served or by payment.
  4. Every term is in writing. Before you enroll, we show you the monthly tuition, the term, the total, what is included, and the cancellation and freeze terms, together and in writing. You receive a copy.
  5. Both parents are welcome. When enrolling a child, we encourage both parents to attend. Adults are welcome to bring any family member affected by the time or financial commitment.
  6. Hardship is handled personally. If your circumstances change, talk to us. We handle each situation individually, with options such as a freeze and a restart date.
  7. Your legal rights are honored. We follow Colorado law and honor every cancellation right it gives you.
  8. We do not send families to collection agencies or sue them. If a student stops coming, our first call is to help them get back on the mat.
